Qualcomm® Flight Kit

What’s inside the kit

Attention:  Before you purchase the Qualcomm Flight, please be aware of these limitations:
  • The Flight Kit is for users with advanced skills in software, electronic and mechanical assembly
  • The Flight Kit requires the purchase of additional 3rd party hardware to build a flyable drone
  • The Flight Kit runs the open source PX4 flight stack. No additional flight control software is provided
  • The Flight Kit only supports the electronic speed controller sold by Intrinsyc
  • The Flight Kit does not include the board support package source code

Additional Accessories

Qualcomm® Electronic Speed Control (ESC) board

The 4-in-1 ESC board with cables is used with the Qualcomm® Flight development board.  It is a fully integrated solution for advanced control of four brushless motors. A dedicated microcontroller from Atmel (ATmega328) for each motor ensures reliable real-time operation and speed control.

Qualcomm® Flight Development Board

The Flight Development board is recommended for those who have previously purchased the Qualcomm Flight Kit (Developer's Edition).  You need only to purchase additional Flight Development boards, and not the Flight Kit, to increase the count of your robotic platforms and reduce overall product costs.

Qualcomm® Flight™ Stereovision Add-on Kit

The Qualcomm Flight Stereovision Kit is an add-on accessory for the Flight Kit that provides two additional forward-facing cameras for stereovision applications. The Kit includes a plastic housing onto which mounts your Flight board, forward-facing and downward-facing cameras, as well as the two additional forward-facing cameras (included). Also included are the flex cables to connect the two new cameras and a cooling fan for the processor.
