Author: J.T., Digital Media Designer

On the first of June, George Reznik, CFO and Corporate Secretary of Intrinsyc Technologies, was awarded Top CFO in the small public company category at the 2017 BC CFO Awards. The award ceremony and gala was held at the Fairmont Waterfront Hotel in Vancouver.

Business In Vancouver dedicated an article to Reznik last month, detailing his work in reviving the company’s fortunes. The article mentions that “during Reznik’s tenure, [Intrinsyc’s} revenues have risen by over 300%, helping raise shareholder value for the Toronto Stock Exchange-traded company founded in 1996.” His strong financial direction, impact on Intrinsyc, and engaging personality were also noted.

In his interview with Business In Vancouver, he advocates for the importance of support and communication within a company. “‘If you can’t really understand what your teammates and colleagues are doing around you, you can’t add value to support them,’ [Reznik] said. ‘Public-company CFOs have to be very communicative about their companies and where they’re going.'”
