S820Am v2 Automotive Development Platform

The second-generation Snapdragon™ Automotive Development Platform (ADP) based on the Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ S820Am processor from Qualcomm® Technologies, Inc. (QTI) provides OEMs and ecosystem partners with access to QTI’s high-performance automotive infotainment, modem and advanced driver assist platform for developing, testing, optimizing and showcasing next-generation in-vehicle infotainment solutions.

The S820Am Snapdragon processor includes four Kryo™ CPUs, a Qualcomm® Adreno™ 530 GPU and high-performance Hexagon™ 680 DSP. The ADP features rich connectivity through the optional X12 LTE modem, and 802.11a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.1 and GNSS, Glonass, BDS, Galileo. The ADP supports multiple camera sensors and 4K display outputs. The Snapdragon Mini-Automotive Development Platform (ADP) based on the Snapdragon S820Am processor from Qualcomm® Technologies, Inc. (QTI) is a smaller version of our S820A v2 ADP with less peripherals. The mini-ADP provides OEMs and ecosystem partners with access to QTI’s high-performance automotive infotainment, modem and advanced driver assist platform for developing, testing, optimizing and showcasing next-generation infotainment solutions. The integrated but modular system is easily upgradeable to help lower development costs.

The Connected Card Application Reference Design (CCARD) is a Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. (QTI) reference design and software development platform for automotive telematics platforms. Central to the CCARD is the MDM9250-6 system on-a-chip, Qualcomm Snapdragon™ X16 LTE modem.

The CCARD’s provides a near commercial-grade Telematics Control Unit (TCU) that provide high-speed wide area networking (WAN) connectivity from an automobile. OEM customers can directly leverage the CCARD for development of their commercial devices.
