Destinator 7 Support

Frequently Asked Questions

Which accessories do I need to operate Destinator 7 for PDAs?

In addition to the Destinator navigation software, you will need a PDA and a GPS receiver. If the GPS receiver cannot be connected to the PDA via Bluetooth, you will require the appropriate connection cable. A storage card is advisable if you do not wish to store the map material in the PDAs main memory. We also recommend the use of a 12 volt charging cable and PDA holder when using the device in a car.

How do I install Destinator 7 on to my PDA from the SD storage card?

The software and the digital map material or part of it is already pre-installed on the SD-card. You only have to follow the following steps to install the software on your PDA:

  • Put the SD-Card into the device's SD-slot
  • The software will be automatically installed.

Do not remove the storage card from the device during installation and while Destinator is running. The SD-Card must be in the PDA's card slot whenever the software is being used because the map material is stored there.

Destinator will start automatically once installation is complete. Activation of the software is not necessary. It is, however, recommended that you register your product. The registration code can be found in the packaging.
