Tracy Rees, President and Chief Executive Officer
  • Tracy Rees, President and Chief Executive Officer

    Tracy Rees joined Intrinsyc in 2007 as General Manager for the Asia Pacific region (APAC). He served as Chief Operating Officer of the Company in 2008, was appointed interim Chief Executive Officer in November 2008, and became President and Chief Executive Officer in June 2009. Rees brings more than 25 years of experience in the high technology industry, with deep expertise in mobility software and embedded technology. As CEO of Annasoft Systems and Anna Technology, Rees led a successful turnaround, including the sale of the company’s operating subsidiaries, and a return to profitability in the core Annasoft subsidiary, and a subsequent sale of assets to Bsquare Corporation. He joined Bsquare as Director of Sales and was later promoted to Executive Vice President - Sales, Marketing and International Operations. In this position he created the company’s turnaround strategy and was instrumental in leading the company’s return to profitability.




George Reznik, Chief Financial Officer & Corporate Secretary

    George Reznik has more than eighteen years of experience in senior and executive financial roles, with the last 10 years spent at rapidly growing public companies in the software and wireless industries. He has broad expertise in international corporate finance, strategic business planning, mergers and acquisitions, investor relations, and operational management. Prior to joining Intrinsyc, Mr. Reznik was CFO of Digital Dispatch Systems Inc. Previous to this, he served as CFO and COO of Infowave Software and before that, was Vice President, Finance with Pivotal Corporation, where he played a leadership role through its IPO on the Nasdaq and TSX. Prior to 1998, Mr. Reznik held a number of senior management leadership positions with Deloitte & Touche in Canada and the U.K. Mr. Reznik is a Chartered Accountant, holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Manitoba and is a Chartered Business Valuator.





Souheil Gallouzi, Senior Vice President & General Manager of Mobile Products & Development
  • Souheil Gallouzi, Senior Vice President & General Manager of Mobile Products & Development

    Souheil Gallouzi brings deep product development experience and wireless industry expertise to Intrinsyc. Prior to joining Intrinsyc, Mr. Gallouzi spent seven years with Qualcomm, most recently as the Senior Director with MediaFLO Technologies responsible for Product Management, Product Marketing and Partner Relations. He began his career as a Systems Engineer with Bell Northern Research, and later held management positions with Nortel Networks and Newbridge Networks before moving to Qualcomm and Leap Wireless International, a Qualcomm spin-off, where he was Vice-President, Product Development and Management. Mr. Gallouzi holds Bachelor and Masters of Science degrees in Computer Science from the University of Ottawa. Mr. Gallouzi’s experience in launching wireless consumer products and services, and enabling video and mobile TV on wireless platforms, is uniquely aligned with the multimedia platform strategies that Intrinsyc is implementing with its Navigation and LBS solutions.




David Manuel, Vice President & General Manager of Solutions Engineering
  • David Manuel, Vice President & General Manager of Device Development Solutions

    David Manuel is a seasoned executive with more than 23 years of international technology business experience. His background includes leadership roles in establishing strategic technology direction, advanced technology research, developing partnerships with major technology vendors, engineering, sales and marketing. Prior to Intrinsyc, Mr. Manuel worked in South America at DAMOS SudAmerica, an affiliate of Telecom Italia, as Director of Engineering and Operations leading the infrastructure build-out of an ORBCOMM (NASDAQ: ORBC) satellite-based, two-way messaging system. Preceding that, he spent seven years at MacDonald Dettwiler and Associates (TSX: MDA) as a Systems Engineer running large systems and software developments for various space agencies and international governmental agencies. Mr. Manuel has a Bachelors of Engineering degree in Computer Engineering from McMaster University and joined Intrinsyc in February 1999.

Philip R. Ladouceur, Chairman
  • Philip R. Ladouceur, Chairman

    Philip R. Ladouceur is one of Canada's foremost technology and telecom executives. Mr. Ladouceur has raised in excess of $10 billion of equity and debt funding, and he has created billions in shareholder value from the sale of telecom and technology companies to global leaders such as AT&T and IBM. Currently, Mr Ladouceur is President and Managing Director of Mardale Investments Ltd. In his past role as CEO, President, and Chairman of MetroNet Communications Inc., Mr. Ladouceur completed in excess of $2 billion in private and public financings, including the company's successful IPO. Mr. Ladouceur also initiated the sale of MetroNet to AT&T Corp. in 1999 for $5 billion. Mr. Ladouceur served as the CFO and Director of Rogers Communications Inc. (TSE:RCI.a), one of the largest cable, cellular, and broadcasting companies in North America. While at Rogers, Mr. Ladouceur was responsible for the completion of more than $3 billion in public and private financings. In addition, Mr. Ladouceur was the founding CEO of ISM Information Systems, which was subsequently acquired by IBM Global Services. He has also served in chief executive roles with SpotWave Wireless and FutureLink Corp. Mr. Ladouceur is past Chairman of the Competitive Telecommunications Association of Canada. He serves on several corporate boards, including Datawire Communication Networks Inc. and Breken Group Ltd.




Thomas Bitove, Director (Independent)

    Thomas Bitove has a successful history of leadership in several corporate sectors, including the retail technology, hospitality and foodservices industries. Most recently, as Chairman of Wireless Airtime Direct Inc., Mr. Bitove was instrumental in the successful launch of a process that allows customers to use ATM bank machines as point-of-sale terminals. He also currently owns the distribution rights for the Red Bull Energy Drink throughout Ontario, Canada, one of the top ten distributors in North America. Between 1989 and 2002, Mr. Bitove was CEO and President of Lettuce Serview LP. He successfully grew the business and sold it, together with the airport foodservice operations, to HMS Host, the world's foremost travel centre and air terminal foodservices company. Mr. Bitove is a Business and Economics graduate of the University of Western Ontario.



George Duguay, Director (Independent)

    George Duguay is a senior executive with experience in the technology, financial services and resource industries. Since 1988 he has been the President of G. Duguay Services Inc, a partner of Marrelli & Drake Corporate Services (formerly known as Duguay & Ringler Corporate Services), a provider of corporate and financial administrative services to public companies. For the past 10 years, he has served as Director of Genesis Microchip Inc., the world's leading supplier of display image processors. Mr. Duguay is a Certified General Accountant, an associate of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and has served as a board member for several private and public companies.



Ketan Kamdar, Director (Independent)

    Ketan Kamdar has more than 15 years of experience in the development, integration, and operations of wireless solutions in the wireless device, telecommunications infrastructure, wireless application, and semiconductor industries. He joined Broadcom in April 2005 and currently serves as a Vice President with global responsibility for Strategic Business Development with OEMs and ODMs, as well as interfacing worldwide with network operators, representing the Mobile Platforms and Wireless Connectivity Groups. Prior to Broadcom, he held several senior engineering and operational roles at AT&T Wireless/Cingular Wireless, most recently as the Vice President of the Device Development Group where he had corporate responsibility for directing, defining and commercializing mobile phones. Mr. Kamdar’s experience and deep industry relationships will enable him to be a strong advisor as Intrinsyc pursues opportunities to build strategic global partnerships.



Gary Koerper, Director (Independent)
  • Gary Koerper, Director (Independent)

    As Vice President of Engine Platforms, Gary manages Motorola’s silicon and systems development. His responsibilities include IPR development, standards engagements, systems architecture, silicon and software engineering, business development and product management across integrated 2G, 3G and 4G platforms. Gary originally joined Motorola in 2004 as Vice President of Global CDMA Portfolio Marketing for the company’s Mobile Devices business where he oversaw world-wide CDMA handset portfolio and managed direct operational relationships with key customers. Prior to Motorola, Gary headed Product Management for QUALCOMM’s MediaFLO group, where he ran business development and marketing activities for the company’s mobile TV broadcast effort. Gary was part of the original leadership team that defined the MediaFLO strategy, product and service offering, in addition to driving spectrum acquisition and system creation. Gary led QUALCOMM’s early development in CDMA smartphones, launching the original portfolio of Palm-based mobile devices that would ultimately spawn an industry of converged devices. In 2001, his role expanded to Director of Converged Devices including responsibilities for product management, business development and marketing for the business segment. Gary’s career with Motorola actually began in 1991, with a variety of engineering and marketing positions at facilities in Chicago, Austin, London and Tokyo. His initial work in technology was as a R&D engineer at Intel’s Advanced Technologies group in Santa Clara California and The Aerospace Corporation in El Segundo California. Gary holds an MBA and Master of Science degree in electrical engineering from MIT, a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from Purdue University and a certificate in Liberal Arts from Nanzan University in Japan.



Howard Speaks, Director (Independent)
  • Howard "Skip" Speaks, Director (Independent)

    Skip Speaks has over 25 years of telecommunications experience in the network operator and the wireless equipment manufacturing and vendor business. He recently served as CEO of Rosum Corporation, a positioning and timing technology company, where he continues as a member of the board. Additionally, Mr. Speaks serves as a board advisor for CommNexus, a non-profit network of communications industry companies. Until 2003, he served as a member of the board and CEO for Kyocera Wireless Corp, a San Diego-based wireless handset manufacturer. Mr. Speaks also serves on the Triton Network Systems Board of Directors. He was CEO of this start-up broadband microwave equipment manufacturer and with the management team took the company public during the summer of 2000. Prior to Triton, Mr. Speaks spent thirteen years at Ericsson, and most recently served as Executive Vice President and General Manager for Ericsson’s Wireless Division. As Executive Vice President and General Manager, Mr. Speaks was responsible for sales and deployment of Ericsson’s wireless communications infrastructure in the United States and helped navigate the company through a significant restructuring to better address the impact of the convergence of data and voice over wireless networks. Mr. Speaks earned a Bachelor of Science degree for Civil Engineering from West Virginia Institute of Technology and is a retired, registered professional engineer.
