Overview
Intrinsyc is currently seeking Application Engineers specialized in WinCE Silverlight. In this role you will be responsible for designing, developing, debugging, testing and documenting software developed within Silverlight for connected devices.
Candidates must have a strong technical background and be capable of coming up to speed with a new team quickly. Good analytical, problem solving, and communication skills are essential as well as the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
We will consider both salaried and contract based candidates.
Responsibilities Include:
- Takes on technical leadership role within projects, develops system specifications and provides technical guidance to the team to ensure schedules and objectives are met.
- Implement software components, sub-systems and applications for mobile devices
- Produce realistic development estimates
- Develop unit tests for all code
- Develop and maintain design documentation
Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in Engineering or Computer Science
- Minimum 3-5 years experience in application software development for mobile operating systems (Windows CE, Windows Mobile, Android, S60, or similar)
- Experience with Silverlight and Expression Studio is a requirement
- Experience with Silverlight for WinCE is definitely an asset
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
- Knowledge of Agile development practices, open source projects and collaborative development
- Ability to work concurrently on multiple projects, across multiple sites and multiple time zones
- Excellent interpersonal, teamwork and leadership skills
