Overview
Intrinsyc is currently seeking a Embedded Software Engineer for our Taipei, Taiwan location. In this role you will be working as a technical support engineer of a development team for a Tier 1 silicon vendor. The key area of experience is in Bluetooth drivers on Linux.
Candidates must have a strong technical background and be capable of coming up to speed with a new team quickly. Good analytical, problem solving, and communication skills are essential as well as the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Working with a development team to develop and debug Linux Bluetooth drivers.
- Perform requirements analysis, system design, and implementation of new custom BSPs including drivers.
- Provide technical opinions and advice; flag and resolve issues and risks.
- Interface with the customer and seek other potential opportunities.
- Work on customer site in Taipei, Taiwan.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
- Minimum 5-7 years experience in Linux driver development.
- Minimum 2 years experience in Linux Bluetooth driver development.
- Android Bluetooth experience is a plus.
- Windows Mobile BT and WiFi driver experience highly desirable.
- Nice to have Linux WiFi driver experience highly desirable.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
- Working knowledge of C and C++.
- Excellent problem solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, teamwork and leadership skills.
